Skinny Jeans

Skinny Jeans. Do we love them, or hate them? There's at least one group of retailers who are loving this current trend. Boot manufacturers. There hasn't been a run like this on boot sales since we wore this look in the 70's! But, having more boots than I can possibly count (well, I could, but I'd bore you), I went out this past weekend, and with my daughter's help, bought 2 pairs of skinny jeans to go WITH my boots! (I got tired of trying to scrunch up my boot cut jeans and mash them into my boots. All that fabric was killing my ankles, not to mention the strain it was putting on the poor boot zippers!) So, yes, I've become a fan of the skinny jean. But, be warned, depending on the brand you buy, there could be a lot of back skin showing when you sit down. So, wear them like the teens do... with long tanks and t-shirts.

This is Judy's husband and I must state unequivically that it is not necessary for my wife to wear "skinny jeans" for any other reason than to fit those jeans into the boots!

Judy I have a question for you. What exactly are skinny jeans? I think I've heard of them but I'm not sure what that means. At least you had Kristen there to help you. In all of your fashion shows you hosted on QVC and even on HSN I don't think you've ever mentioned skinny jeans. I think the rage with teenagers these days and even people in thier 20s are the baggy jeans. To that I say come on now do we really need jeans hanging down past the waist? Find jeans that fit. There's lots of choices out there for jeans so stores should have jeans that fit people.
